Changing One's Luck
Many people have heard of the phrase "born under a lucky star". Some people attribute this to the unexplainable streak of luck that one person cannot explain or describe.
Many people believe that human beings can be born with such fortune (or misfortune). Some scientists have conjectured that human beings are born with a "fortune" gene that is responsible for the luck of some people. A lot of public and private research has been spent on the research of this remarkable phenomenon but have had little success.
Up to today, the subject of luck is still unknown and is not researched much anymore due to its unscientific nature and the fact that the research done it may also somewhat un-scientific for it seems to have no real and factual information. It also cannot be tied down to physical aspect. Most tests done on luck have also produced unclear results and near impossible to forecast.
What was discovered in the studies was that luck had more to do with a persons behavior than being passive about luck. It seems that being confident in ones self and seeking opportunities is the nearest thing to "attracting" luck.
This may be the reason why many people play bingo online for long periods of time. They continuously play so that their chances of attracting luck would come true and grace them with many huge winnings. They play all the time for they believe that sooner later they would hit the big one.
People who are considered out of luck are seen to be more stressed than lucky people and this could be the main reason why these people fail in everything they do. These people who sit and wait for luck to come will never see the opportunity for it for they do not go out and seek it. What good or luck would do if a person who sits at the couch all day and wish for a great date if the person makes no move to ask people to go out? Luck begets action. One has to move for luck to take place.
Lucky people receive the luck by accepting whatever events would pass them by, whether it be failure or success. These people still maintain their positive outlook in life. People who hate the element of change in their lives and are not willing to make a change in their personalities suffer from what is called 'change blindness'. By refusing to accept change into ones life does one neglect the entry of luck into their game. Life and luck must exist together harmoniously. By taking only small, cautious leaps and letting the fear of loss control a person, no luck could exist.
A persons luck may then be determined by the way players accept all forms of defeat and changes in their lives. Those who alienate themselves from the process of change are ultimately bound to go nowhere.
